GearLab partnered with the City of Boulder to perform a user needs assessment, documenting design requirements and specifications for a redesigned government web experience that catered to both residents and government employees.

The Click! Network needed an updated design that was optimized for mobile and that easily allowed customers to explore plan options, create their own packages, and submit their orders online. The previous site was highly informational, but they wanted to take to a more transaction-based approach with the redesign.

GearLab and SiteCrafting collaborated to conduct a user needs assessment documenting design requirements and specifications for a newly redesigned government web experience that satisfied both citizens and government employees.

During the redesign of Washington Health Benefit Exchange’s website, user research and usability analysis were conducted to assess how efficiently users could find the information they were seeking. Our goal was to uncover a design strategy for creating an efficient and pleasant user experience. A key component to this project was making the website responsive to mobile devices.

MultiCare Health System has been serving the community since 1882 and is the largest community-based, locally-governed health system in Washington State. MultiCare looked to GearLab and SiteCrafting for a provider search redesign in order to improve the user experience. Through extensive research, designing, and testing, our teams built a new easy-to-use search system.

The YMCA sought to improve their online class registration system to allow for easier and more efficient sign-ups across all nine branches. To achieve this, we made three recommendations: implement a responsive, mobile-optimized design, enhance search navigation, and improve the information architecture. Throughout the redesign, it was also important to create consistency in class information across locations.
